Overview
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Vintage Clean store and everything connected to it, operated by Monkies Vintage & Thrift. When we say "we", "us", or "our", we mean Monkies Vintage & Thrift. Our platform runs on Shopify.
By visiting, browsing, or purchasing through our store, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the store.
1. Access and account
By using our store, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Don't share them. You cannot transfer, sell, or assign your account to anyone else.
All information you provide — billing, shipping, payment — must be accurate and current. You're responsible for keeping it up to date.
2. Our products
We do our best to represent products accurately. That said, colours and appearance may vary depending on your screen and device settings. We make no guarantee that what you see matches exactly what you'll receive.
Product descriptions and availability are subject to change at any time. We reserve the right to discontinue any product or limit quantities without notice.
3. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to purchase — not a confirmed sale. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion. Your order is confirmed only once we've accepted it and processed payment.
Review your order carefully before submitting. We may not be able to cancel orders once accepted. If we decline, modify, or cancel your order, we'll contact you using the details you provided.
Purchases are for personal use only — not for commercial resale or export.
4. Prices and billing
Prices are subject to change without notice. The price charged will be the one in effect when your order is placed, confirmed in your order email. Prices do not include taxes, shipping, or import charges unless explicitly stated.
You warrant that your payment information is accurate, that you're authorised to use it, and that all charges will be honoured. Promotional pricing is governed by its own terms; in any conflict, the promotion terms apply.
5. Shipping and delivery
All delivery times are estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, or circumstances outside our control. Once your order is handed to the carrier, risk of loss passes to you.
6. Intellectual property
Everything on this store — text, images, graphics, branding, design — belongs to Monkies Vintage & Thrift, its affiliates, or licensors, and is protected by applicable intellectual property law.
You may use the store for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of it without our prior written consent. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
7. Third-party tools
We may give you access to third-party tools as part of the store experience. These are provided as-is. We don't monitor, control, or endorse them, and we accept no liability for your use of them. Use them at your own discretion.
8. Third-party links
Our store may link to external sites we don't control. We're not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. Leaving our store to access third-party sites is entirely at your own risk.
9. Shopify's role
Our store is built on Shopify. All purchases are made directly with Monkies Vintage & Thrift — not with Shopify. Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of your transaction with us, including any product-related injury, loss, or damage. By using our store, you release Shopify and its affiliates from any claims related to your purchases.
10. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Shopify also processes certain data related to your use of the store. By using our Services, you confirm you've read both policies.
11. Feedback and reviews
If you submit feedback, reviews, or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and publish that content for any purpose, including commercial use.
You confirm that you own the rights to any feedback you submit, that it's accurate, and that it doesn't violate any third-party rights. We may remove feedback that we consider unlawful, offensive, or in violation of these Terms.
12. Errors and inaccuracies
If something on our store contains a pricing error, inaccuracy, or omission, we reserve the right to correct it and cancel affected orders without prior notice, even after an order has been placed.
13. Prohibited uses
You may only use our store for lawful purposes. The following are prohibited:
- Unlawful, harmful, or malicious activity
- Infringing on intellectual property rights
- Harassing, threatening, or defaming any person
- Transmitting false or misleading information
- Sending spam or unsolicited promotional content

14. Automated agents
If you use or deploy any software that acts autonomously on your behalf to access our store ("Agent"), the following applies:
- The Agent must identify itself in all HTTP/HTTPS requests using the format:
Agent/[agent name] - The Agent must not mimic human behaviour or bypass CAPTCHAs
- The Agent must respond honestly if asked whether it is human or automated
- The Agent must not circumvent any access restrictions we put in place
We may block or limit any Agent access at our discretion.
15. Termination
We may terminate your access to our store at any time, without notice, for any reason. You remain liable for any amounts owed up to the date of termination. Sections covering intellectual property, feedback, liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.
16. Disclaimer of warranties
Our store and products are provided "as is" and "as available" with no warranties of any kind — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to the store.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. Those exclusions may not apply to you.
17. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Monkies Vintage & Thrift, its partners, directors, employees, affiliates, and Shopify and its affiliates, will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of our store or any products purchased through it — including lost profits, lost data, or replacement costs — even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
18. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Monkies Vintage & Thrift, Shopify, and our affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers from any claims, losses, or liabilities — including legal fees — arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your use of the store.
We'll notify you of any such claim. We may manage the defence at your expense but will not settle any claim that imposes non-monetary obligations on you without your consent.
19. General legal provisions
Severability — If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.
Waiver — Failure to enforce any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
Entire agreement — These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any posted policies, constitute the full agreement between you and us.
Assignment — You may not transfer these Terms or your account without our written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights without notice.
Governing law — These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Monkies Vintage & Thrift is headquartered. You consent to the jurisdiction of courts in that location.
Headings — Section headings are for convenience only and have no legal effect.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated as required by law. Continued use of the store after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The current version is always available on this page.
